Important Information

* Products must be in their original container with the label intact.
* Containers must be sealed.
* Gasoline must be in an approved ULC gasoline container. (For safety reasons, gasoline containers will not be returned to the consumer).
* Do not mix different types of products. 
* Maximum container sizes we can accept are as follows:
* 25 litres (Paint & Gasoline)
*10 litres (Corrosives, Toxic and Flammable products)
*24 oz (660 grams) Aerosols


E-Waste (electronics) can be dropped off at Gateway Resources located at 1582 Pembina Ave, Winkler.

Household Hazardous Waste Accepted Products:

Full, partial, or empty containers of:

Paints, Varnish and Urethanes
Deck and Floor Coating
Undercoats and Primers
Wood Finishing Oils and Sealers
Wood or Driveway Sealer
Household Caulking Compound
Rust Remover, Grout Cleaner
Pool and Hot Tub Cleaners
Paint and all other Aerosols                  
Camping Fuel/Lighter Fluid

Single Use Fuel Cylinders
Fire Extinguishers
Flammable Liquids, Solids, Solvents
Mineral Spirits, Acetone, Kerosene
Paint Stripper/Paint Thinner
Paint & Varnish Remover
Turpentine & Varsol
Old/Leftover Gasoline in ULC approved container only (jerry can)
Mercury Thermometers
Thermostats containing Mercury

Domestic Pesticides/Weed control
Fluorescent Tubes & CFL Bulbs
Light Ballasts
Batteries (any type-no refunds given)

Drop-Off Instructions: 

Products must be in their original container with the label intact.

Products not in original containers

Unidentifiable, unknown, unlabelled products

Leaking, unsealed products

Refillable propane tanks

Diesel & DEF Fluid

Liquid automotive paints, craft paint, line marking paint, quick drying paint, 2-part or component paint containing catalyst or activators, hardeners

Brushes, rags, rollers

Medications, medical sharps

Smoke detectors & lighters are household garbage

Non-Fluorescent Light Bulbs:

(L.E.D, Incandescent, Halogen, HID, Sodium High pressure Bulbs)

Helium tanks
